  • What is the HISA Grant?
    This is the Home Improvement Structural Alterations grant offered by the Department of Veteran Affair Prosthetics office. It allows up to $6800 to qualifying disabled veterans with rating of 50% or more. The funds can be applied to renovating showers to make them more accessible for disabled veterans
  • Can you help with HISA application?
    Absolutely. We are experienced with the grant and performed hundreds of jobs. We know how to fill out application and can help expedited the process for quicker turn around to get your shower remodel started
  • How long does it take for VA to approve HISA grant?
    this can take 2-3 months for HISA grant to get fully approved and funded. Patience is key, but once approved, we will immediately schedule you and our construction only take around 4 days.
  • Is there any out of pocket costs to Veteran?
    No. With the standard shower conversion (roll in walk in shower and grab bars) there will be ZERO out of pocket cost to veterans.
  • How long does shower remodel take?
    Usually our shower remodels take 4 days from start to finish. Some contractors may promise 1-2 days but beware. This is because they use substandard materials and fiberglass kits which are cheap and less time consuming to install. We use all tile for your shower and we are sure to give it plenty of time to cure and settle to give your shower the most professional look that will last for many years to come.
